I am Married
The following initiatives and resources are designed to help our MArried couples thrive in their marriage as they journey along their marital journey.
Our Heart
for Married Couples
As a church, we believe that God designed every marriage to be a thriving one, not a surviving one. However, in busy Singapore, many couples often tend to neglect the cultivating of their marriage, especially when the kids come. As a result, many marriages end up “existing” and not thriving.
Our heart as a church is to see every marriage thrive and to resource married couples and journey together with them as they navigate through their marital journey.
Recommended Goals for Married Couples
As a church, we recommend every married couple to cultivate the following pillars in your marriage:
The Marriage Retreat
The marital journey is a tough one, especially in busy Singapore. Therefore, it is critical for couples to take time off their busy schedules, as well as parenting duties, to reflect, rekindle and invest in their marriage. This is the reason why we run The Marriage Retreat every year. This retreat will help couples:
Our prayer is that through this retreat, God will strengthen your marriage and deepen your relationship with your spouse in a way that is above your expectations!
Next Retreat: 23-25 November 2024, Forest City.
Marriage Mentoring
The Marital Journey was always designed by God to be done within the context of a spiritual community where we journey together with fellow couples, as well as to receive guidance and wisdom from couples who are futher along in their marital journey.
Our desire as a ministry is to see every married couple in our midst be connected to a more mature married couple so that they can journey together in their marital journey.
Note: We are in the midst of developing and training Marriage Mentors. Once our team is ready, we will start connecting couples with Marriage Mentors. So, do stay tuned for more information in the days ahead.
